Missing / Damaged Items

Please check your delivery on receipt.

Any damaged or missing or goods must be reported to us via telephone and email  directly upon receipt or within 48h from receipt of goods. We may not be liable to any charges or refunds after this period. Our orders are double checked prior to dispatch.

 Balloon and Party Online  Warranty

You may return certain purchases made over the web to us subject to the following:

-  all returns have got to be notified either by email / telephone within 7 days of receipt.

-  Items must be returned unused, with all original packing material within 7 days of receipt (after notification and a returns number has been given)

-  Items must be unused and in a saleable condition with all packaging intact, they must be returned unopened and unused with the tamper seals in place where tamper seals are provided. Items in blister packs must not be opened as they cannot be resealed. If the product or packaging is in any way missing or damaged, if header card are torn and the item is not  a resale able condition we cannot and will not refund. 

-  We do not refund items that have been worn, washed or soiled. Additionally for hygienic reasons all sales on the following items are final and not eligible for returns; makeup, eyelashes, tights, stockings, wigs, contact lenses, underwear, bodysuits (2nd skin, morphsuits inclusive), wearable accessories and masks. Some costumes have sealed wigs if this is the case and the costume is not appropriate please do not open the wig, as once it has been opened a refund cannot be provided.

-Any items returned which have been rush-ordered and organised by phone (i.e you have asked us to process part of your order on the phone manually and treat as urgent for immediate delivery- you require the items urgently) or for any reason other then incorrect, damaged or defective will be subject to a 15% or minimum £7.50 handling charge.

-  If the goods delivered are not what the customer ordered, incorrect quantity, damaged or defective, Balloon and Party Online will, at the customer's option either give a full refund or where possible make good any shortage, non-delivery or replace any damaged / defective goods.

Before returning anything you must contact us within the time frame above (See Missing and Damaged Items) and we will give you a Goods Returns Number. This number must be included with the returned items otherwise we will be unable to process them.

Please ensure that you send the goods in appropriate packaging including  the delivery note  and a copy of your email / invoice. 
We do not refund return shipping costs: it is your responsibility to return items to us; we recommend recorded delivery or Royal Mail special delivery, Balloon and Party Online cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to goods whilst they are being returned.

Refunds will be made to the card that was used in the original purchase or a cheque made payable to the cardholder if the card is no longer valid.

Please note that it is not possible to return items purchased from our website to any or our retail units. You must follow our returns policy and return goods by post.

We regret that outbound shipping, packing and insurance cannot be refunded.

We try to make refunds within one week of receipt back to us though promise to make all refunds within 30 calendar days from receipt of goods to our warehouse.

Please note that we will not be held liable for any interest payment that you may incur because any refund was made outside of your credit/debit card timescale's.

Any returned goods that we receive which are outside or without our authorization will be defined as 'In Dispute'. Such items will not be refunded a reason for this decision will be provided. We are happy to re-ship such In Dispute items back to you, at your cost, otherwise they will be destroyed within 30 calendar days from their receipt back to us.

None of the above affects your statutory rights.

* Please note that in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) we will not refund the customers cost of postage to return a product back to us, unless that product has proven to be faulty. 

 Delivery - Leaving items with Third Party - safe place or similar

If you have requested us to leave any item either with a third party or in a safe place  or similar where the item will be received with or without a signature Balloon and Party Online will not accept any liability whatsoever with regards to non receipt  as our contract is to deliver to the delivery address on file and a signature at the  said address is required.
